Veterans Medical Supply, Inc. is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) manufacturer, which manufactures and distributes a wide variety of medical products designed to satisfy and exceed veterans and patient needs. Our company manufactures our own lines of durable medical equipment (DME) and distributes Oxygen, Sleep Diagnostic, and CPAP Therapy Equipment.   We hold FSS Contracts for both DME and CPAP and Supplies. By utilizing Veterans Medical Supply, Facilities can now purchase compliant items, from a SDVOSB, at great pricing.

  • 3 day delivery is guaranteed for 90% of the continental USA from 3 strategically located warehouses.
  • No shipping charge for orders shipped to a VA Facility.
  • $13 Flat-Rate shipping charge per order,  for drop shipments to Veteran's home, regardless of number or size of items. Available to contiguous 48 States only.
  • Extra charges will apply for expedited shipping, or Alaska and Hawaii.  These are handled on an as-needed basis. Please contact us for a quote.
Our Leadership Team

  MICHAEL SCHWANDT,  President/CEO  
Michael Schwandt, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Veterans Medical Supply, Inc., is a United States Marine Corp. service-disabled veteran who served overseas in Iraq, Africa, and Cuba in the infantry.  Mr. Schwandt joined Veterans Medical Supply in 2008, bringing leadership, dedication, and organization to the rapidly growing company from his military experience.  Mr. Schwandt has been a part of the Veterans Medical Supply management team since 2009, helping to develop business and government customers.  In 2019 Mr. Schwandt purchased majority ownership in Veterans Medical Supply, ensuring that the company will continue to provide quality healthcare products to our well deserving veterans community.



  JERRY DOORN, Founder and Vice President
Jerry is one of the founding partners of Veterans Medical Supply Inc., and is an honorably discharged Navy Veteran.  Mr. Doorn served our country as a corpsman for six years during the Vietnam Era. He started VMS with the belief of helping his fellow Veterans. Mr. Doorn has been in the Durable Medical Equipment industry since 1992. VMS still adheres to Mr. Doorn’s belief to help Veterans not only with the best products and services, but with building the company by providing jobs to Veterans. He has established VMS to be a Veterans 100 company whereby VMS employs Veterans first. Veterans Medical Supply Inc. is a company where veterans are serving veterans.

Susan's financial background and expertise was instrumental in the founding and growth of Veterans Medical Supply Inc. 



   Brad Martino, Vice President
Brad started with the company in 2005 as Office Manager. By January 2007 he was promoted to Operations and Logistic Manager, and one year later, was appointed the Director of Operations. His leadership with nine years of Management and Logistics experience within the Medical Industry, along with his Business Education at the University of North Florida and South Florida has enable VMS to stay on track with their goals and principles.


   Stuart Cohen, Vice President Sales
Stuart is so extremely honored to join Veterans Medical Supply as their new Vice President of Government Sales.
Stuart has been a part of the Medical Supply Industry for over 35 years. Most recently he oversaw the sales for Invacare Corporation for the Department of Veterans Affairs.  As part of his passion for our nation’s heroes Stuart has been actively involved in sponsorship and participation in over 50 national veteran rehabilitation events throughout his career. This includes The National Veterans Wheelchair Games, National Veterans Golden Age Games, National Veterans Summer, and Winter Clinics. The Warrior Games and The Invictus Games. He also has served on The Department of Veterans Affairs National Advisory Committee. Stuart and his wife Connie have been married since 1984 and have enjoyed traveling together to help support these events. They are both active platelet donors and volunteer their time with the Kentucky Humane Society.
